Just a reminder on the homework: your assignment was to complete the character charts for all four characters of "The Monkey's Paw" (Mr. White, Mrs. White, Herbert, and Morris), and then create a Claim, Data, Evidence chart from that information. I will upload a template for the character charts into the handouts section under the title "Annotation Charts" if you need another.

Hey guys!

Time for another post (know it's been a little while). Posted under the handouts tab is the chart we made today in class. Copy it down if you didn't get it today in class.

If you ever need a recap on the annotation/color coding/outlining process, Mr. Martinet has designed a powerpoint for our use. You can find it under the handouts tab should you ever need it.

Due Monday (if I don't have it yet) is the work we did for the "Casey at the Bat" poem. Here is what I need:
  • Annotated poem
  • Chart (claim, evidence, so what?)
  • Colored-strip outline
  • Paragraph

Today your homework was to finish the paragraph of the House Story and why you would rob the house. For those who were absent (or simply need a refresher) you can find both an extra copy of the house story as well as notes for what was covered.
