Starting September 4th, the Math Department will turn Room 531 into a Math Learning Center after school from 3:20-3:50pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. (Excluding every 2nd Wednesday of the month) There will be two math teachers present, as well as peer tutors. The goal is for students to come to the Learning Center for tutoring, test prep or for a place to work on assignments, being able to work with different teachers and collaborate with students to build a stronger understanding of the mathematical concepts.  Students will be expected to sign-in each day that they come to the Learning Lab. For each month that students have attended 4 afternoons in the Math Learning Lab, we will hold a pizza party sponsored by FBLA that last Thursday of the month to celebrate students expanding their learning. We will present an extension question or Problem of the Week for students who are interested in coming in to work on something “outside the box.”

2019-2020
Itasca State Park, Minnesota. The start of the Mississippi River.Welcome to 2019-2020 School Year!  This year I will be teaching Geometry, Precalculus and AP Calculus.  I am originally from Minnesota, spent 10 years teaching in Fort Collins, and have been in Pueblo teaching at Centennial for 13 years---this year begins my 24nd year of teaching!

Please check Infinite Campus to monitor grades and attendance. Parents and students have their own separate logins to access the system--parents must go to the front office to pick up a login if needed.  Please email me if you have any questions: jodi.cranemurphy@pueblocityschools.us.  My classroom phone is #719-423-3878. Please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible. Email is my best form of contact. My plan period is 5th hour, and the Math Department PLC is 7th hour.

I am typically available most days after school for tutoring/assistance until about 3:50 p.m, unless I am called into a meeting.  In the past, students have also found private tutors through the math departments at PCC and CSUP for more support outside the school offerings.  There are multiple online videos and resources for students to access, as well.
