National Honor Society is a national club, that promotes high standards of academic excellence, along with leadership, service and character. Sophomores or Juniors with a gpa of 3.5 or above are eligible to be nominated to be members. Once sworn in, students must attend monthly meetings, and perform 35 hours of community service. NHS members are expected to be leaders toward the positive promotion of excellence in the aforementioned areas.
NHS students receive certificates of membership, as well as their blue and gold chord for graduation. NHS currently meets the third Monday, of every month.
